The Nirikin story
Nirikin is derived from the Hindi-Sanskrit word “nirikshan” meaning “to inspect”. We support our clients with better ways to inspect their work.
The Nirikin leadership team has decades of Operations and Technical experience. As a team they have worked together as business partners in multiple ventures starting with a Prospective Exam Risk Adjustment company in 2012. In the years to follow, our collective experiences have positioned us well to approach the complex highly automated back office operations marketplace with tools and solutions that meet the real needs of Quality Assurance for any business area in any environment.
Our mission is to truly provide a better way to do Quality Assurance. Our vision is to provide solutions that are easily utilized across departments and partner relationships in a way that provides scale and consistency ultimately unlocking the true value of best-in-class Quality Assurance Programs.
Mark Sobieski
President and CEO
Mark Sobieski is President and CEO of Nirikin and one of its three founders.
Prior to Nirikin, Mark took on the challenge of leading the newly created Business Optimization Organization for Independence Blue Cross in 2021 after successfully serving as the Vice President of Service Operations at IBX. Under the umbrella of Optimization, Mark has used his talents to productize advanced technologies, evolve vendor performance models, and upgrade transaction quality assurance. Prior to IBX, Mark lead the Account Teams for TMG Health, a government markets back-office platform provider. After the TMG Health’s sale to Cognizant, Mark played a strategic role in the transformation focusing on revenue growth. Mark's career journey also included serving in the SVP-GM role at Sykes/ICT Group where his leadership played a pivotal role in the successful launch of Medicare Part D. He later joined and launched Educerus, an In-Home Assessment and Risk Adjustment startup serving as Chief Operating Officer until the company sale to PopHealthcare.
Mark holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from Michigan State University and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Seton Hall University.

Manoj Sinha
Chief Operating Officer
Manoj Sinha is Chief Operating Officer of Nirikin and one of its three founders. He is also a co-founder of three other companies: BISIL (1990); Coriendo (2003); and First Altus Resources (2007). He serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Coriendo, LLC and continues on the Board of all three companies. Prior to 1990, Manoj held management positions with ITC, Ltd., and prior to that with Tata Motors, the number one auto manufacturer in India.
Since launching his first company in 1990 Manoj has conceptualized four successful products: Finserv, Enj, Taxshax, and Sigmify. Enj and Sigmify are BPM products that have been used for developing many solutions in the healthcare vertical. Of late Manoj's work has been mainly in the Healthcare vertical using Sigmify as the foundation platform for configuring solutions including Nirikin Reviewer. Since 2005 Manoj and his team have been involved in conceptualizing, building and implementing various solutions in the Healthcare world. These solutions cover the range of clinical, administrative and revenue cycle areas in Healthcare. He has also worked on NHIN related projects dealing with CONNECT and DIRECT frameworks, esMD gateway interfaces with CMS.
He has also been instrumental in designing and implementing PCMH and Care Coordination solutions. Manoj holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from BITS in Pilani, India, and a Masters in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad.

Peter McGrath
Chief Strategy Officer
Peter McGrath is Chief Strategy Officer of Nirikin and one of its three founders. He is also a co-founder of-and serves as Chief Executive Officer for-Coriendo, LLC. From 1998 until the formation of Coriendo in 2003, he was CEO of an Internet-based software company that provided document repository, automated business processes, and collaboration services.
From 1980 to 1998 Peter served as president of several affiliated privately-held project finance and development companies of which he was a co-founder, and which successfully financed and built twelve independent energy and environmental projects with a total capitalization of $450 million. Prior to 1980 he held senior positions in banking, economic development, management consulting, and public policy.
Peter is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service, and holds an MPA and Ph.D. in Political Economy and Government from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
