Our QA process is very manual. We pull together spreadsheets and enter them into an old application that just takes up too much time. We spend more time entering data than performing true auditing work. I wish we had more automation.

To be honest, I only look at the QA score at the end of the month to check the box. The information we get on issues and errors is usually old and outdated and no one looks at it anyway. Plus the reporting doesn’t tell me what I really need to know. Not just who is making mistakes but why. I just don’t have time to compile all of that information.

Every change we make requires us to put in a change request to our IT department and if even its approved, it takes forever to get it put in place and usually the first output is not what we wanted. If only I could make my own updates to our templates.
